Lucy Lamanna is a graduate of Blue Ridge School of Massage and Yoga and Virginia Tech. She is certified by both the state of Virginia and the National Certification Board for Massage and Bodywork.

Lucy has been practicing massage for 8 years in the New River Valley & uses intuition and tissue feedback to provide therapeutic massage for her clients incorporating an eclectic mix of massage and bodywork techniques dependent on the client’s needs.

Over the years, Lucy has completed additional training in movement therapy, Barratt Breathworks, hot stone therapy, spa treatments, & pregnancy massage.  While she is very adept using these techniques, her specialty is Lymphatic stimulation massage for detoxification & improved lymph flow.  After studying a variety of approaches to Lymphatic massage (also known as manual lymph drainage & lymphatic drainage massage), she has learned to incorporate techniques from each style to determine the appropriate treatment for clients.  Specifically, she has found pain & fatigue levels in Fibromyalgia patients improve drastically after receiving lymphatic massage. It has also proven to be extremely beneficial in relieving joint pain, symptoms caused by allergies, PMS, pregnancy-induces edema (swelling) & chronic fatigue in clients.

Yellow Sulphur Springs

Yellow Sulphur Springs nestles in a magical hollow between Blacksburg and Christiansburg, Virginia, just seven minutes from Virginia Tech.

Yellow Sulphur Springs boasts a long history, having been an inn since the 1700s. The site contains an historic hotel dating from 1810 as well as several other historic structures. The Springs closed in 1923, and the buildings later housed itinerant workers.

Bernard Ross and Victoria Taylor purchased the property in 1997 to establish the Yellow Sulphur Springs Healing Spa.
